Biography

Laura Basem Jacobs’ practice centers on insurance law and civil litigation, with a concentration in extra-contractual claims, insurer “bad faith,” insurance fraud, and agent liability. She is a creative trial strategist with more than 25 years of experience in state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as administrative venues. Laura has an established track record of identifying her clients’ goals and mastering complex legal theories and expert issues related to third party general liability defense, toxic torts, class actions and first party insurance coverage issues arising under homeowner, automobile, umbrella, commercial, and general comprehensive liability policies.
